  • Unique School Solutions are supporting a large, secondary school Academy to appoint a Sports Coach to work on a fulltime basis starting ASAP. You may be a Sports Coach currently or be a Youth Worker or recent graduate.

What would the role entail?

  • Supporting the PE department to deliver engaging sessions to students aged years old
  • Deliver extracurricular and sports clubs when required (may involve some planning)
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively following the schools policy
  • Providing extension activities or alternate methods for children who need more support
  • Responding to learner questions effectively and professionally
  • Liaising with Year Group Leaders with regards to pupil progress and engagement when required
  • Collecting any completed written work at the end of the class and giving to the appropriate Teacher

About you:


  • Must have previous experience delivering Sports sessions to children and young people
  • You will be passionate about working with children and young people
  • Will be an excellent communicator who is confident working to own initiative and as part of a team
  • Be someone who is passionate about Education and getting the very best out of people including offering alternative teaching methods when needed to reach learners of all abilities
