Supply Chain Assurance Director
Key responsibilities:
To manage our supply chain assurance activities for clients.
Person Specification
Key duties, responsibilities, and objectives
- Working closely with the Supply Chain Assurance Director to manage and coordinating the delivery of supply chain services for clients.
- Complete onsite and remote supplier audits both in the UK and abroad
- Carrying out audit administration activities e.g. contacting suppliers to arrange audits, liaising with clients, keeping audit calendars/schedules up to date, dealing with supplier/client queries.
- Creation of documentation i.e. audit templates, standards, policies
- Review supplier information e.g. HACCP, selfcertification documents, corrective actions and collaborate accordingly.
- KPI reporting.
- Complete BRC/SALSA gap analysis audits and supporting implementations as a result.
- Support the wider team with technical queries
- Build strong client relationships to ensure they receive supply chain services to a high standard.
- Regular client catchup meetings, with any issues dealt with on a timely basis.
- Assist with an efficient supply chain service and maximise on cost savings.
- Provide regular updates to the Supply Chain Assurance Director
- Have a technical manufacturing background and understand the requirements of a BRC, SALSA and other GFSI standards.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the company's services and brands
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own time effectively.
