A bit about us


This is a busy team working alongside Schools, and Somerset Council Education, Inclusion, Admissions and Entitlements teams to maintain Student core data using Capita One case management system (training will be provided).

This post is based in Taunton but is hybrid working i.e., both at home and in the office.

The post is for 23 hours per week, and we can be flexible with working pattern.


What will I be doing?

There are a variety of tasks which include contacting schools to check data queries, creating and updating Student records on Capita One case management system, supporting colleagues with termly Statutory School Census.

You will also provide support, advice, and training to other Capita One users.


What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The workload can be very high, you will need good ICT skills and have excellent attention to detail to maintain a high level of accuracy to ensure good data quality.


You will also need to have good communication skills to liaise with professionals in Schools and work well with colleagues.

You will need to be confident with Microsoft Office programmes.

The salary for this role is £13,171 - £13,655 per annum for 23 hours per week.
