Intro is looking for someone who can take the lead on all our written content.

As our PR and Content Lead, you will produce high quality content for our clients.

You'll be able to spot stories that will gain good coverage in local and national press - and you'll know where to put an apostrophe.

Some of our recent projects give you a flavour of the sort of work that would you would be involved with such as creating a magazine for the WELL Project to illustrate its work through interviews with local schools, embracing the quiet revolution happening in the world of women's rugby with Fibrus Broadband and Wigton Rugby Club, and reported on The Cumberland's wellbeing day when former Carlisle United footballer, Chris Lumsdon, talked candidly about his struggle with mental ill health.

Role and responsibilities

• Overview_

Working with Company Directors and the Head of Client Services, the PR and Content Lead will produce a range of high-quality content - such as press releases, extensive magazine features, sponsored content articles or newsletter copy - for clients and Intro.

The PR and Content Lead will also have a good understanding of local and national media, and be able to identify opportunities for all Intro clients.

The PR and Content Lead will be responsible for developing and planning written content to support clients, as well as briefing other writers, freelancers and social media specialists when required, as well as managing clients and projects, serving as the primary point of contact.

As part of the senior team at Intro you will have a leadership role to play in our development and be part of the team shaping the growth of the agency.

Main duties include:

• Develop and execute strategic PR and content plans to support client objectives.
• Write and edit a variety of content including press releases, articles, features, blog posts, and occasionally social media posts.
• Keep in contact with relevant journalists and develop good relationships with our target publications and broadcasters.
• Manage client accounts and projects as required, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with members of the Intro team to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
• Brief and oversee other writers to ensure content meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation and future PR activity.
• Stay uptodate with emerging PR and content trends and technologies, as well as local and national publications.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a journalism, marketing or PR role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences and channels.
• Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in social media platforms.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
