Job description
We have an exciting opportunity within the MKT Logistics group for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor (PM).

You will be based at our Nelson depot working on a permanent late shift, hours of work will be 12.00hrs through to 20.00hrs Monday to Friday, although you would need to be flexible during peak periods.

You will need previous experience operating an FLT in a busy working warehouse environment.

You will be responsible for:

Safe loading/unloading of our vehicles.
Effective communication with the transport office and drivers.
Daily inspections on our FLT fleet.
Monthly racking inspections.
Monthly ladder inspections.
Ensuring that all fire regulations are followed according to our fire risk assessment.
Ensuring that all first aid kits around the warehouse are checked and fully stocked.
General housekeeping in and around the warehouse is kept to a high standard.
Stock control of goods in and out.
Health & Safety within the warehouse and yard area.
