Elevate your career as a Credit Controller with a leading importer and distributor of global food and drink brands.


Are you ready to take charge of accounts receivable and make a real impact in a dynamic finance division? We're on the lookout for a Credit Controller to join our clients' finance team.


As a Credit Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining positive relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

Your main focus will be executing all AR duties diligently, ensuring that client payments align with company's credit terms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, resolving account queries promptly and ensuring all payments are made in accordance with terms.

Efficient Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the assigned AR ledger, allocate payments accurately, and investigate and raise credit notes when necessary.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Account Managers to ensure effective debt management and collection of outstanding funds.

Proactive Problem Solving:Take initiative in handling incoming calls from clients and drivers, providing timely resolutions to account queries and issues.

Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date account notes, run statements and reports, and assist with month-end duties.


REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Background:A Level education or equivalent; a degree is desirable but not essential.

Experience:Previous experience in accounts receivable is preferred, along with a sound knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word. Ideally SAP experience.

Communication Skills: Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Organizational Skills:Excellent time management and attention to detail in prioritising workload.


Enjoy standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Fridays.

Work in a comfortable office environment alongside supportive colleagues.
