Our organisation:

SLRA is a well established local migrant support organisation working alongside refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis due to immigration issues.

Working alongside the Head of Adult and Family Services, Immigration Advisors and our team of Advice Volunteers, the Caseworker will support clients to positively progress with their lives.

The caseworker should have experience of providing regulated immigration advice at least at OISC Level 1, along with an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at-risk.

They will have a good understanding of the challenges faced by these groups, including destitution and inability to access services due to No Recourse to Public Fund restrictions.

  • 25 days annual leave, plus Christmas closure and bank holidays (pro rata)
  • 5% employer pension contribution

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Regulation to provide immigration advice at OISC Level 1 or higher.
  • The ability to listen and work with discretion and sensitivity in a nonjudgemental manner.
