Fire and Security Engineer (Northwest)

Permanent

£38-40k/annum
Our client, a leading fire and security organisation, require an experienced engineer to carry out installation, service and maintenance of systems in commercial and residential premises across the Northwest area

Duties could include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to service calls on all types of Fire & Security systems (fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and emergency lighting) in line with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Installation of fire and security systems
  • Carrying out duties in line with SSAIB and BAFE requirements
  • Maintaining Fire & Security Systems in your region
  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment
  • Offering technical advice and support
  • Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications
  • Be part of the emergency out of hours standby engineering team and be willing to work across single and multiple site locations
You will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of fire and security systems and meet all health and safety and regulatory requirements


You will have the ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with customers, client, and colleagues.


You will be required to work in a customer facing environment and as such, you must remain polite, presentable, and always carry yourself in a professional manner.

On occasion, you may be asked to work away from home where necessary

You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the fire and security industry and hold a valid CSCS/ECS as well as a clean UK driving licence
