We have a very exciting opportunity working with a world-renowned London based Arts institution where you can join a bright team of specialists working within the IT team.

If you are an experienced and personable IT Support specialist, we want to hearfrom you.

The salary ranges between £29,500- £31,000 with a fantastic range of benefits including up to a fantastic 19% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday (plus bank hols and additional closure days) maternity, paternity and adoption pay.

The role sits within the ICT team with the main objectives of this role being:

Being the 1st & 2nd line support onsite across the x 3 locations
Demonstrating good technical knowledge / understanding but with the ability to speak and resolve tech issues with non technical users and communicate to a more universal audience
Providing support with hardware calibration and campus support

The person

This role is a newly created position and requires a real people person that is experienced in engaging with stakeholders at a technical and nontechnical level.
Strong systems support and hardware background.
Personality is key for this role so the ideal candiate will have excellent customer service and the approach to surpass customer expectations.
Person ideally needs a recognised IT qualification e.g. ITIL or Prince 2 PM
A proven ability to solve complex problems where solutions are not readily available nor is the problem well defined.
Patience to work with colleagues who may be experiencing difficulty with business systems to secure a successful outcome.
Ability to take users on a journey to get the most desired outcome for the user and institution

Experience of working in tech retail or NHS would be advantageous but not essential.
The institution Is based in London, travel between the campus is sorted by a free bus connections. The role would be onsite 5 days a week.
There are 2 positions we're hiring for this team, one Permanent and one 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.
