Description
What you'll do:
Develop and implement effective tax strategies for _VOIS to optimize the tax position across the _VOIS footprint.
Ensure tax compliance in an accurate and timely manner including direct and indirect tax in all locations where _VOIS operates.
Execute internal, external and government audits as needed. Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with overall business objectives. Responsible for endtoend tax function across _VOIS for all _VOIS entities, to minimize tax liabilities and risks for the company.
- Ensure all transactions have been fully analysed from a tax perspective while presenting risks and mitigations for business challenges.
- Work with external consultants and internal team members to review operating mechanisms across _VOIS in current and new locations looking at all aspects of tax including permanent establishment.
- Manage tax risks and litigations while actively working with internal, external and group stakeholders.
- Stay relevant with tax amendments across all locations to ensure the implementation of such changes in a timely manner.
Who you are:
- Strong tax controllership experience with proven work experience in a large set up with a bent for analytical mindset to achieve team goals
- Graduate qualified with 15+yrs experience gained in large, multinational organisation
- IFRS knowledge
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to work assertively with partner, and present to Clevel executives
