We are looking to recruit a Domestic Assistant to join our highly trained and caring team, within a well-presented residential home, situated in Polperro, Cornwall.

You will need to be flexible to work alongside our Domestic & Laundry team to work 3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role involves the following duties & responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all floors and surfaces.
Assisting with cleaning, drying and ironing of residents' clothing and bedding and delivering it back to the rightful owner.
Remove rubbish in accordance with waste disposal policy
Fully clean vacated rooms ready for new residents.
Clean and store domestic equipment correctly.
Be able to demonstrate a kind and friendly nature.
Be well presented in appearance and behaviour.
Be a team player but be able to work on their own using their own initiative.
Be willing to learn and attend training.
Observe and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 197
Be aware of the homes' policies and procedures.
Complete charts / documentation, where necessary
Ensure correct handling and dilution of cleaning materials to C.O.S.H.H. standard

Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
