The Role
As
Accounts Assistant, you will play an essential part in providing financial, clerical and ad-hoc support to the Accounts team.
Previous experience working within a busy accounts office/administrative position, with the ability to prioritise workload, problem solve, and effectively communicate to assist with the flow of information across all relevant departments.
Responsibilities
- support accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliations ensuring up to date ledgers
- banking duties including reconciliations
- processing customer payments
- sales ledger invoices
- corporate credit card transactions
- payroll
- assisting with completion of management accounts
- completion of daily/weekly/monthly reports for management and government bodies
Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years demonstrable experience within a busy accounts office/administrative position
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy of data entry
- Strong IT skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Office 365 Experience with Xero (advantageous)

Hours of work
Monday - Thursday, 9.00am-5.30pm
Friday, 9.00am-4.30pm
