Sales assistants and potential tea gurus wanted

We are a well-established business within Camden Market stocking over 100 differen teas and infusions. We are looking for fun and engaging members to join our team.

We have a large selection of products (over 100 different teas and herbs) and it is important that team members are knowledgeable about the products and are able to engage in a friendly and informative way with the customer.

Our main goal is to encourage customers to purchase tea and accessories from either our shop or online. We do this by creating a friendly and interesting atmosphere.

You are there to educate the customer by listening to their requirements explaining what is on offer and then seeing if you can fulfil their requests.

We are very highly rated across all platforms and it is very important for us to keep and grow this reputation of friendliness, politeness and being engaging. On Google we are rated with a perfect 5s, Camden Tea Bar is also listed in Tripadvisors TOP 10% of cafes in the world and we wnat to keep it that way
What is expected?

At least 3 years of cutomer service, ideally retail focused
Treat the customer as you would like to be treated.
Provide the customer with knowledge and advice about the teas.
Attitude should be approachable and friendly.
Punctual, Polite, Presentable
Actively engaging customers, every customer should be greeted as you would like to be greeted when entering a shop.
Make sure shop is clean, shelves dusted, floor swept, wood polished etc.
Record all sales, monetary value and stock sold.
The shop and all equipment should be left at the end of the day as you would like to arrive to it in the morning.
Making drinks for customers, hot or cold and tidying the tables after.

Not essential:
- social media knowledge and ability
- happy to be in explanatory videos and other social promotions.

Hours: 32-40 per week
