Description

Knowledge of, and experience working to, BRC Global Standards is essential and the applicant should have Food Technologist qualification or similar, as well as minimum HACCP Level 2.

Food production/processing experience will also be benificial.

The Technical Assistant's responsibilities include general technical administration dealing with customer queries and questionnaires plus supporting the Technical Manager by, for instance:

• assisting with supplier approval and monitoring

- assisting with preparation for annual supplier performance reviews
- assisting with setting up/conducting/following up supplier visits and audits in the UK and overseas
- closing out complaint and NC forms
- collation of data and compiling complaint reviews for management review meetings
- monitoring of food fraud reports and following up with suppliers as necessary
- ensuring products and packaging comply with current and applicable legislation
- assisting with the management and development of all documentation and procedures within the Company's QMS and BRC for Agents and Brokers
- assisting with, and conducting of, internal reviews/audits relating to the QMS and BRCGS


Salary:
From £28,000.00 per year

Education:

• Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

• Food Technical/Quality: 5 years (required)
