A leading law firm are recruiting a commercial BD & Marketing Executive who would work with the Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Planning and Property Litigation Teams.

Reporting to the Commercial Real Estate & BD Marketing Manager, the role holder will have responsibility for driving action, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and being the go-to resource for four of the teams' sector groups (Later Living, Buyto Rent, Student Accommodation, Sustainability, plus the Planning team (a specialist group).

The Commercial Real Estate group is a dynamic and engaged team which produces a range of content.

They are also open to new ideas and happy to receive direction on best practice in terms of marketing and BD.

This role would provide a good next career step forsomeone with some experience working for a professional services firm focused on real estate or someone from a real estate company, agent, investor, developer or operator.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and update the sector plans as required. Complete/devise any new plans as needed.
  • Develop and execute crosschannel marketing campaigns on topics aligned to the sector groups, with support of the BDM, the digital team and freelance graphic designers.
  • Bring creativity and new ideas on formats and delivery.
  • Work with the firm's PR agency on communications strategy for campaign, team and deal promotion.
  • Manage internal comms around new BD initiatives and communicate the work of the CRE team.
  • Manage client communications as part of the job holders' sector group and campaign work.
  • Draft engaging marketing copy for new and existing web pages for selected sectors groups and initiatives.
  • Work with selected partners to develop individual sales pipelines of key clients, targets and referral contacts.
  • Support and manage major client pitches; research, collating information and proofing.
  • Help partners prepare for pitches, BD meetings and other presentations by facilitating rehearsals and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain (supervising the BD & Marketing Assistant) a library of credentials documents covering sectors and services.
  • Liaise with Library/Knowledge Development Lawyers in collation and review of data used for credentials meetings/documents.
  • Manage (supervising the BD & Marketing Assistant) a library of standard BDM materials including CVs and case studies.

Skills:


  • Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • A minimum of four years' experience of business development and marketing within a professional services firm (ideally a law firm) and with proven experience within a real estate environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with internal clients and colleagues and external suppliers and consultants.
  • Excellent organisational, delegation and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail. Accurate and thorough.
