Requirements of the Therapy Assistant
- Recent experience within Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
Main Duties:
- The postholder will undertake delegated duties from a registered clinician (physiotherapist), they will have excellent communication skills, working closely with NWAFT colleagues and the care home to ensure continuity of rehabilitation and optimisation of patients' function in preparation for discharge
- The postholder will ideally have experience of acute and community settings and will be able to manage a caseload of patients confidently within the interim care home setting
