Description
1 x Burton post available and 1 x Derby post available

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Cancer Services, and delivering improved outcomes for our patients.

You must be able to organise and prioritise your own workload to meet the requirement of the team.

Have the ability to function and communicate effectively as part of a team, the ability to exercise sound judgement in relation to problem solving and identifying situations requiring further advice.

The role requires a high level of data accuracy to meet deadlines and to ensure high standards of service are maintained.

You will need strong typing skills and an ability to type under pressure in a live meeting.

Hours could possibly be from 7.00 am start pm finish - depending on your Multi-Disciplinary Team and the numbers of patients for discussion for that week.

This would only be on your MDT day. Usual office hours are between 8am-6pm with flexibility and during week day's only.

The Multi-Disciplinary Team Co-ordinator, although not a patient facing role, plays a major part in the overall patient experience and journey.

You should have excellent communications skills, be effective in working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff and have a flexible and patient centred approach.

You should also have previous admin experience, ideally with experience of working with databases and understanding data collecting processes.

You will be responsible for the monitoring, reporting and tracking of all patients, with either suspected or diagnosed cancer, ensuring the patient's journey is processed and administered in a timely efficient manner in line with clinical guidance and the National CWT (Cancer Waiting Times) monitoring dataset guidance.

You will also work as part of the MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) to ensure the cancer patients experience is central to every stage of the journey.
