Teaching Assistant

Salford (M5)

Pay rates:
From £11.68 p/h

Shift Patterns:
Monday - Friday, No weekends

Core Teachers are working alongside a fantastic primary school in Salford who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant. The teaching assistant they are looking to appoint will have a sociable and caring personality.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Organise materials and resources for lessons
Flexible and adaptable to the unpredictable nature of teaching
Offer additional support to students who require it
Monitor and support student progression
Build positive and professional relationships with both students and colleagues
Liaise with parents, carers and relevant professionals
Practice exceptional behaviour management in line with school policy
Support students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Teaching Assistant Qualifications/Experience:

Have previous experience in a nursery or primary setting
Teaching assistant qualifications preferred but not mandatory
A minimum of 6 months UK work experience
