Description

Menzies Distribution Solutions is currently seeking a
Depot Administrator to join our team in Carrington, Manchester.

Position:
Full-time, permanent

Hours/Shift:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week during the day

Salary:
£26,862 annually

Location:
Carrington, M31

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for all warehouse administrative inquiries and provide support with daily staffing issues
Prioritise and plan daily workload effectively
Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company Health and Safety policies
Ensure full compliance with 5S standards and pass all audits
Complete and review risk assessments (training provided)
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken
Maintain equipment logs to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with company and legal processes
Communicate new processes and procedures to all staff
Provide accurate information for customer requests
Analyse data and make logical decisions
Ensure all Warehouse Management Systems, MS, Voice, and Transport Management Systems are up to date and utilised efficiently
Monitor individual performance and report accordingly
Ensure all tasks are accurately completed and strive to meet set KPIs

Requirements:

Strong communication skills with the ability to empathise with customers and effectively resolve problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with report writing on customer service activity and making recommendations for improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Experience with SAP is preferred but not required
