Production Operative


Location:
Bloxwich


Hours of Work:6am - 4pmDay Shift - Monday - Thursday 38 Hours a week


Pay rate:
£10.60 Per Hour


Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for a well-established Manufacturing business based in the Bloxwich area of Walsall.

As a prodcution operative you will be responsible for many duties in a factory environment.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Working with Grinding machine
  • Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipments
  • General factory duties
  • Packing various products
  • Ensure that any issues regarding HSE are reported immediately.
  • Ensuring that the quality and quantity of products are up to quality expectations.
  • Work at different stations as production requires
  • Keeping areas tidy and safe

Skills and experience:


  • Previous factory experience is beneficial
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team or alone
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Ensure production demands and customer requirements are met
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Good communications skills (Good standard of English is essential)
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision

Pay rate and Working hours:

£10.60 Per Hour

6am - 4pm Day Shift Monday - Thursday 38 Hours a week
