In this role, you will deliver high-quality advice to our clients and contribute to internal work to support the continued growth of the company.

You will be able to develop your consulting skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will work flexibly on client projects and practice support matters, guided, and coached by our senior team.


We are looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree (2:1), or equivalent international degree with demonstratable numerical ability.
• The ability to work with people; excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and modelling.
• A team focus and a track record of working successfully as part of a team and collaborating to share knowledge.
• The ability to think flexibly and an openness to new ideas and change.
• An organised and proactive approach to work with a 'can do' attitude willing to roll your sleeves up and work across a range of client projects and work to deadlines.
• An interest and willingness in helping Complete Strategy to grow.
• An ability to travel away from home, at times for several nights a week when required to deliver client work.
• An understanding of regulatory strategy work in the context of UK energy and utility companies.
• Interest in the price control process used by economic regulators.
• An understanding of how policies and strategies are adopted and implemented by companies in the sector.
• Interest in the energy transition and Net Zero challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Use your analytical and critical thinking skills to help solve interesting and unstructured client problems.
• Work directly and collaboratively with clients to enhance their teams and start to develop your own client relationships.
• Communicate your findings and conclusions effectively through highquality reports, presentations, and data analysis.
• Participate in, and support, effective client meetings and workshops.
• Support the development of thought leadership and blogs to promote the business.
• Contribute to proposal material and pitch material and support client engagement activities.
• Develop your consulting, strategy and regulatory skill sets through coaching and formal training.
• Develop and maintain your knowledge of energy and water sector developments.
• Use social media to support the development of thought leadership and blogs to promote the business.
