As a Barclays Corporate Onboarding SME (Subject Matter Expert), you will work in partnership with other Barclays Corporate teams as well as our wider business functions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast moving team to deliver KYC Process Change and Regulatory objectives whilst delivering a first class service to stakeholders and customers alike.

You will be involved in process implementation, process change, process mapping, training of individuals and teams and audit management.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Leading technical resource in support of change initiatives impacting KYC, providing input, guidance and where appropriate signoff on behalf of area
  • Embedding the understanding and operation of new processes and policies to include launch support and onward implementation support and coaching
  • Using expert KYC knowledge to analyse KYC information for a broad range of Corporate Clients, including a wide variety of specialist industry sectors
  • Acting as a technician in all aspects of process and policy for KYC
  • Taking care of providing end to end dedicated and robust specialist KYC expertise throughout the KYC Process
  • Working on selfdevelopment to ensure SME knowledge is relevant
  • Collaborating with Operations Readiness Managers to develop skills for future changes
  • Attending relevant Barclays forums to enhance knowledge

What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience of AML/ KYC gained within investment or corporate banking
  • Experience of reviewing complex structures, PEPs and/ or Sanctions screening
  • Experience of using approved KYC vendor sources e.g. Dun and Bradstreet, Companies House, and others
  • Legal knowledge in terms of corporate law and structure

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • AML/ Compliance Certification


  • Cash Management

  • Cert ICM
  • Knowledge of High risk indicators and revision of complex structures and entity types

Where will you be working?
Knutsford
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
