Exjet Services are a multi disciplined drainage engineering company based in South Devon.

We are currently seeking an administration clerk preferably with experience in the construction industry to join our existing office team.


Person Specification

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of administrative procedures
  • Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate both orally or in writing in a clear, concise, professional manner
  • Ability to remain professional at all times, working to high customer service standards
  • Ability to organise, prioritise work effectively, and work effectively to deadlines and with a high attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to use initiative, anticipate problems, and provide solutions without close supervision.
  • Ability to work well and effectively as a member of a team.

Job Role Specifics

  • Act as administrative support for the Civil Engineering and Sewer Repair department
  • Produce written quotations for clients
  • Oversee the ordering of plant and materials as required utilising internal purchase ordering procedures
  • Produce job packs for each individual project
  • Update internal planning software with engineer whereabouts
  • Submission of street works notices and liaison with Highways Authorities as required
  • Assist with closedown of projects
  • Administration cover for Reactive engineering department.
  • Liaising with Site Based Staff, and subcontractors
  • Employees Time Sheet Collation & Submission to Payroll Team
  • Would suit an individual with experience within the construction industry, though this is not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is motivated, driven and wants to continue their professional development.

In return we offer a starting salary between £23,500 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience) for a 35 hour working week, company pension, and holiday entitlements within a friendly team orientated environment.
