Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)_ _
for one of our very established clients._

Our client is ideally looking for someone with SEN experience, this role will involve working one to one with a child who has a developmental condition.

The role of a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) within the Nursery involves:

Assisting the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in your care.
Working within and maintain the context of the whole Nursery team
Supervising staff and students in training and maintain a proactive and professional team.
Ensuring all daily routines are adhered to and records kept up to date.
Maintaining staffing levels, arranging cover when needed.
Planning and carrying out activities in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, Setting the Standards for Learning, Development and Care for children from birth to five, ensuring they meet with the Early Learning Goals.
Further developing 'free flow' play.
Ensuring assessments/evaluations are regularly completed.
Ensuring children get the best start in life by working in close partnership with parents/carers to develop independence, confidence and selfesteem, building children's resilience and well being
Supporting staff development and work closely with other staff and professionals.
Conducting 1:1's and annual Staff Development and Performance Reviews.
Communicating with parents and other visitors in a calm, friendly and efficient manner.
Overseeing an effective key worker system.

To be considered for the role of Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) you will have:

A minimum of a level 3 childcare related qualification.
GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
Current paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake training.

Experience required for the Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) role:

Experience of working with children aged 0-4 years in a childcare setting.
1 year's leadership experience minimum, within an early years setting
Experience of recording observations, and supporting others in planning for children's learning in EYFS.
Experience of working in partnership with parents.
