Finance Business Partner
Location - Preston
Salary - £45,000

Simpson Judge are working with a growing business with fantastic offices based in Preston, who have an opportunity for an ambitious Finance Business Partner, in a commercial role with a lot of scope to develop and a clear progression pathway.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner with key stakeholders, prepare management accounts, and drive decision making.

Responsibilities include:

Work with the senior leadership team to enable strategic decision making with the support of financial information
Preparation & reporting of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for the monthly Board report
Ensure spend in line with budgets
Orchestrate annual budgeting process from planning and stakeholder communication through to delivery
Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations
Ensure management accounts are compliant with financial governance & internal control requirements
Support Auditors during yearend audit for statutory reporting
Embed a culture of continuous improvement; identify and implement system and process improvements and efficiencies, culminating in enhanced financial data integrity
Champion ongoing business efficiencies in support of ambitious savings targets and define fitforpurpose Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards
Aid seniorlevel strategy development, present financial insights, scenario planning and whatif analysis
