SUMMARY


You are an experienced marketing professional with plenty of initiative who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast paced, and progressive environment in the fitness industry.

This role is one that is varied and instrumental to the business.

Working with a cross functional team, your primary goal is to support activities that generate awareness, introduce new clients and build community for the Barry's brand.

As such, it will provide a brilliant opportunity for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and looking to take the next step in their career.

This role requires experience or relevant qualifications with project management, event coordination, copywriting and marketing communications.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assigned territory (group of studios)_
  • Understand the given territory and proactively find solutions that will provide local studio growth
  • Provide ideas that bring new customers to assigned studios
  • Work with the studio managers to execute the strategy and provide all the necessary support
  • Work with strategic partners to ensure brand awareness growth
  • Track and monitor success of territory tactics and events and input into activity tracker
  • Generate and maintain relationships with strategic stakeholders, ensuring that Barry's is at the top of their mind for any activities that benefit your assigned studios

  • Work with Marketing Manager in creating a strategy to strengthen and build community at the national and local levels
  • Execute the community strategy and analyse results
  • Work closely with instructors in order to provide ideas and tools to generate community with their clients
  • Create and execute an influencer strategy to bring digital communities into IRL studio classes and events
  • Identify influencers and negotiate with management teams to plan IRL community events and branded social coverage
  • Work with the sales team to ensure community is being built in the corporate area of the business
  • Work with other marketing team members to ensure charity events are being created and executed successfully
  • Work with all studio managers to ensure a calendar of community events, themed classes and studio milestones are agreed and executed within budget
  • Create and execute plan for engaging with assigned demographics
  • Event Management_
  • Identify potential 'on brand' events: collecting information, quotes and presenting to Marketing Manager
  • Playing a key role in event management and coordination. Creating, organising and implementing Barry's UK events in studio and approved outofstudio locations
  • Liaising with event organisers, organising and implementing large scale events
  • Creating, organising and implementing Barry's parties for clients, charities and community
  • Providing postproduction marketing support to clients. Obtaining and examining strategic marketing data and stats.

LOCATION
Barry's UK Head Quarters - 33 Gutter Lane, EC2V 8AS, London

Please note that some travel may occasionally be required, including to national sites.


WORKING HOURS
You'll generally work a standard 9am to 6pm day but hours could sometimes include shift or weekend work. There may also be a requirement to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

This role is for all UK Barry's Studios.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of relevant marketing experience in an marketing / communications / PR agency or health / fitness industry (preferred)
  • University level Marketing / Business education (preferred)
  • Comfortable with analysing numbers and reporting back metrics
  • Interested in organising events and writing copy
  • Highly organized and able to manage various multiple projects/tasks at once
  • Team player; ability to work with other people on multichannel campaigns/multidepartmental projects, while also able to work independently on individual projects
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable cold calling, traveling around sites and conversing with teams or third parties on a regular basis
