We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our rapidly growing Transactional Procurement Team.We will provide you with all the training so you can deliver an effective customer facing service to our NHS clients, supporting the smooth management of the procurement process.
This position is hybrid, but there is an expectation to attend our Salford office where business needs are required.What you'll be doing:
- Be the point of contact within the team for all local procurement queries
- Efficiently processing requisitions, whilst providing high standards of customer service
- Promote faster processing of purchase orders by supporting customers to with submitting requisitions
- Connect with customers to review and amend noncompliant requisitions
- Review procurement requirements and complete relevant compliance checks
- Review documentation including contracts, quotes and catalogue items for processing requisitions
- Resolve any queries for internal and external customers, including any late orders
What you'll bring:
- The ability to deliver quickly and accurately to customers across a high volume of requests
- Experience of working in an environment with MS Office
- A high level of organisational skills, effective timemanagement and a proactive approach to delivering the best customer service you can
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communication with customers at a variety of levels within NHS SBS
