Sales Engineer
Home Based / Newbury / Basingstoke / Hampshire region


C£30k to £35k basic + unlimited OTE + car allowance + benefits including profit share.


Our client has been established for more than two decades and are recognised market leaders in the provision of purchasing, production and overall energy and waste efficiency improvement solutions to a diverse range of blue chip and SME distribution andmanufacturing clients throughout the UK.


As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2023, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, tenacious and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to complement their driven and professional team, and both achieve and exceed theirannual sales target and provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction as well as generating ongoing mutually beneficial business relationships across the region.


Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability and account growth within your assigned territory and market through the effective sale of the company's products and/or related services, you will proactively promote, sell and secure orders from existingand prospective customers through a dynamic and consultative relationship-based approach, identifying customer needs in order to provide a suitable solution for conversion and demonstrating products and services to new and existing customers in order to assistthem in selecting the best solution for their needs.


With excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels and a high level of self-motivation and determination, as a Sales Engineer you will excel in efficiently organising your time and workload, combining ongoing telephone calls to book appointmentswith existing and prospective customers and attending sales visits to identify the needs of potential customers and presenting the company's products and services.


Other activities will include identifying prospect customers through research and establishing their potential for business development, and liaising with the management, marketing and supply team in order that a coordinated sales effort can be achieved.

You will become adept in assessing the market's potential and determining the value of existing and prospective customers value to the company, whilst identifying the benefits to the customer and comparing like for like products and services with competitors.
