About the role
We are looking for a Part Time Retail Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care in our front of house team.
You will be an integral part of our team here, helping us drive our service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.
We are also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.
Ultimately, you must be an ambassador for our brand and profession within the local community.
Educating others about the benefits of independent eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting head-on with you as a part of our team.
About Us
We are a committed independent, dedicated to providing our patients with an exceptional experience in practice.
The practice is recognised across the UK as providing the highest, most comprehensive level of eye care to a wide range of patients.
The main role will be welcoming patients to Cameron Optometry and assisting them while they are in the practice, particularly with optical scans.
We are also looking for:
- Professional individual who can multitask and work autonomously
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to engage with patients from all backgrounds and demographics
- Personable individual who can work as a supportive member of the team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex clinical advice to patients as directed by Optometrists
- Comfortable managing own workload in a busy, highvolume practice
- Excellent computer literacy and comfortable with using technology
- Ability to identify customer needs and assist accordingly
The role is very varied and may also include other duties to assist with the day-to-day running of an optometry practice.
