Main duties will include planting, seasonal pruning, hedge cutting, lawn care, seasonal garden management.

Our in house gardeners will work closely in developing our clients gardens always keeping a close eye on the overall design.

What we are looking for:

• A passion for plants, the environment and sustainability

• Horticulturally trained

• RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent desirable but not essential
• Recent graduates of horticultural courses encouraged to apply.
• Excellent plant knowledge across all main plant groups trees, shrubs, hedging, perennials, grasses and annuals and a desire to learn more
• Lawn care experience and qualifications desirable but not essential
• Good knowledge of common garden pests and disease, and how to treat them in envionmentally concious ways
• Good knowledge and experience of pruning of different plants, shrubs and trees.
• Gardening experience in both commercial and private residential settings
• High level of competence using garden machinery and tools, including mower, blower, hedge trimmer, strimmer. Chainsaw operation certification desirable but not essential.
• Presentable, tidy, organised and personable
• Great attention to detail and the bigger picture
• An appreciation and understanding of garden design and different garden styles
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Excellent Punctuality and timekeeping
• Full and clean UK driving licence preferred but not essential
• Eligibility to work in the UK

£20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
