Role is onsite in Leamington Spa 2-3 times per week

They're actively searching for a skilled Technical Animator to enhance their existing Art and Animation team.
In the role of Technical Animator, you will seamlessly navigate the realms of art and programming, constructing immersive experiences for players.
Collaborating with a team of adept artists and designers, you'll breathe life into characters and environments while ensuring impeccable in-game performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with artists and designers to devise animation systems aligning with the game's technical and artistic requirements.
- Engineer and implement animation pipelines to guarantee optimal ingame performance.
- Craft and refine character rigs and animation controllers.
- Utilize motion capture data to craft animations that are both realistic and expressive.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and devise solutions to maintain a smooth production flow.
- Offer assistance in character and environment creation as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of the animation pipeline.
Requirements:
- Recent experience as a Technical Animator in the games industry.
- Display expert proficiency in Maya, MotionBuilder, and other animation software packages.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of game engines, specifically Unreal Engine.
- Command knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or C#.
- Exhibit experience with motion capture and facial animation.
- Collaborative spirit, able to work seamlessly with a team of artists, designers, and programmers to produce highquality game animations.
