Youth Worker

Location:
High Peak

Salary:
£85-£95 per day

Hours:
Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Start Date:
As soon as possible


Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you have the skills and dedication to work with children facing behavioural challenges? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Youth Worker.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with students to address and manage behavioural issues.
  • Provide oneonone and group support to help students overcome challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavioural intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students to thrive academically and socially.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant qualifications in youth work, education, or a related field.
  • Enhanced DBS check.

Salary:
£85.00-£95.00 per day
