Please note this is a home based role with extensive national travel including overnight stays to complete audits*WithYou are seeking an analytical and results driven individual to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all our service users by being responsible for risk based auditing across all of our services some of which are registered with the CQC and the Care Inspectorate in Scotland.
The postholder will conduct a wide range of risk based audits nationally.This will include remote and onsite audits with themes identified by the Critical Incident Review Group (CIRG) and Drug Related Death Panel (DRDP) and provide timely verbal and written reports on audit findings, reporting to the CIRG or SDCGG as required.
You will support Operational Managers to develop Improvement Plans as necessary and support the Clinical Governance Directorate in monitoring progress against Improvement Plans.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- GCSE level or equivalent NVQ 3 Relevant practice based training or qualification (such as FDAP accreditation or Nursing qualification)
- Demonstrable ability to implement and support others to follow internal policy and key external best practice guidance
- Ability to produce reports for internal and external use and for audiences at all levels
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Knowledge and experience of working in clinical services
