Gearies Primary School

Midday Assistant

  • Gearies Primary School is a successful, friendly and culturally diverse school providing education to pupils aged 311. Following the proposed extension of the universal free school meals programme, we wish to employ additional midday assistants to support children during the lunch period. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are friendly, enthusiastic and who have lots of patience.
  • Supervise children during the lunch period
  • Encourage healthyeating
  • Provide support to children with special needs, under the direction of the SENCO
  • Manage behaviour effectively
  • Encourage safe and enjoyable play
  • Cover First Aid (training provided)
