This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the NHS within one of the largest healthcare trusts in the South West of England.


In this role, you can expect to provide administrative support for performance data reporting and analysis, diary management, assistance for the organisation of meetings, the validation of patient waiting lists, and document control on electronic systems such as MS Teams.

  • Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive administrative support service to the Operations Performance Team to support the delivery of performance reporting, in accordance with the agreed priorities of the team.
  • Assist the Operations Performance Support Officer with a variety of key performance reports, including the updating and circulation of performance data.
  • Plan and organise meetings and assist in the diary management requirements of the team, including resolution of any conflicting diary appointments.
  • Undertake the management and coordination of performance meetings, including the associated administrative duties such as notetaking and maintaining action logs.
  • Effective use of MS Office to support the preparation of material, slides and documents for meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain administrative and information resources.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and databases required for the role and projects.
  • Support the development of reports with operational and corporate managers to improve performance information available to the Trust.
  • To deal with all enquiries in an effective and timely manner, deciding upon appropriate followup action.
  • Utilise available technology to work remotely, such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Communicating and engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and the management and coordination of meetings.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
