Vertex IT Solutions is pleased to announce that we are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer

  • To provide Desktop Support Services on site for the client

Experience

  • Proven Experience of Break-Fix Engineering
  • Microsoft desktop
  • Office 365 administration and support
  • Active Directory
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating difficult situations to a successful conclusion

Skills

  • Common sense approach, professional attitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and give clear instructions (written and verbal)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Analytical and methodical
  • Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Approachable and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong technical aptitude with eagerness to learn new skills
  • Selfstarter who can help to formulate tactical plans to achieve department strategy

Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation (desirable)
  • Comptia A+
  • Microsoft Office/Windows 10/365
