Description

Creating our gravies, you will be a key component in a business that has been in Wetherby since 1958. You will work to strict food safety and quality standards, and assist in achieving daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations

We are looking for 2 Senior Operatives to join our packing teams on a fixed term contract until early 2024.

If you have previous food industry experience (desirable) and an eye for detail we would be very interested in speaking to you.

Job Details

The Senior Operative reports into the Line Coordinator and has responsibility for ensuring that health and safety and food safety is prioritised and enabling production on time and in full.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

Ensure the processing or packing lines are being safely operated at all times as detailed in the Companies Health and Safety policy.
Maintaining the defined GMP standard.
Taking direction from your Line Coordinator to ensure planned production output of each product is achieved
Ensure the line is left in a clean condition at the end of shift.
