A luxury fashion retailer, with a portfolio of stores across England is looking to recruit for a head of HR.

This role sits within a growing HR department and reports into the HR director.

Following significant investment, the company has no debt and hasbeen investing heavily across a number of functions, one of which is the people agenda, this role will be an integral part in shaping and delivering the people strategy.

There is also a new store opening programme in 2023 and 2024 which is a real success storywithin the market.

The company is a premium retailer that is instantly recognisable and has a solid reputation for quality product and service.


The head of HR will be responsible for a team of four experienced people partners, all of which have a solid pedigree in the HR space and are well respected within the organisation.

The role works very closely with the HR director, who is looking for someonewho can take the overall responsibility for the operational running of HR, whilst working on strategic projects, which then allows the HR director to focus on executive level matters.

You will be given the freedom and autonomy to make decisions to shape thepeople strategy, as the business still has an entrepreneurial culture at the core of its values.


The successful applicant will have gained experience in a fast paced, retail or hospitality environment and will have gained experience operating at a head of HR or equivalent level.

You'll have the ability to drive the development and performance, of whatis already, a strong people partner team.

Someone who has strong ER experience, who can be a sounding board of advice to the team as and when needed is a natural requirement for the role.

You will also have a proven ability to manage at a board level as youwill be presenting at executive meetings, along with working with store directors on quarterly people plans.


In return they are offering a basic salary of up to £85,000 depending on experience, a £7,500 car allowance, plus all the usual benefits you would associate with a role of this level.

There is a hybrid working model in place of three days in the office andtwo from home with the office base being in London.
