Do you want to make a difference? Customer Service Officers have a key role in supporting the work of the busy Property Management service by providing excellent services to customers both face to face and through other communication methods.


As the initial point of contact within the Property Management service, this role is often the first time a customer interacts with Stockport Homes Group and we know that first impressions really do count.

You will be responsible for providing a full range of information on the services provided including housing registration, allocation of empty homes, mutual exchanges, helping customers become 'tenancy ready' amongst other tenancy related services.

It is a rewarding role and the impact you can have on our customers is something that brings satisfaction.

Striving towards the delivery of excellent customer service, you must demonstrate commitment, passion and enthusiasm to resolve customer enquiries sometimes in challenging and complex situations.

Having the ability and skills to communicate effectively with all customers is an essential skill for this role and a real focus will be to work to grow the Mutual Exchange service, supporting more customers to choose mutual exchange as the way to move home.
