CNC Operator / Material Tester

4 on 4 off Days and Night

£16.11 per hour

gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a CNC Machinist and Material Tester to work at their facility based near Kitts Green

Performance Objectives

  • Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern that will require weekend working as part of Test House Team
  • Operating CNC Vertical Milling Machines.
  • Operating CNC Lathes.
  • Operating Saws.
  • Change of Jigs and entering new programmes.
  • Tensile Testing.
  • Fracture Toughness Testing.
  • Stress Corrosion Testing.
  • Material Analysis and Quality Records input.
  • Future Training in Laboratory Testing.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Good Numeracy, English, and Reasoning ability (an entrance test will be given).
  • BTEC Engineering Diplomas or A Levels in Maths or Science
  • CNC experience.

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

£16.11 per hour
