We're currently looking for a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing our financial operations.

The Role:

As our Accountant, you'll have the unique opportunity to oversee the company's finances, providing critical insights and ensuring financial health and compliance.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be at the heart of our financial decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with management to develop budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
Implement and oversee effective financial controls and processes.
Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisers as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and PAYE regulations.
Familiarity with the financial operations and regulations within the construction sector.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
Previous experience in the recruitment industry is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
Strong communication and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
