We're currently looking for a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing our financial operations.
The Role:
As our Accountant, you'll have the unique opportunity to oversee the company's finances, providing critical insights and ensuring financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
- Implement and oversee effective financial controls and processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisers as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and PAYE regulations.
- Familiarity with the financial operations and regulations within the construction sector.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience in the recruitment industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
