Job Profile
Managing the successful purchasing of customer orders, ensuring we exceed customer expectations on quality and delivery performance, whilst meeting company GPM targets, personal targets & KPI's
Continuous monitoring and management of orders to fulfilment ensuring we meet customer lead-times, informing all relevant departments of any delays or issues.
Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
What you'll be doing
- Progress orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, helping prevent customer delays (According to commercial standards)
- Help with system information standards incl.
Tasks and recording of
Activity Notes:
- Place accurate supplier P.Os quickly and efficiently, Checking sourcing options for more cost effective and value added solutions where possible (always updating required information in the orders activity notes).
- Monitoring and managing supplier dispatch deadlines, updating relevant information (from unavailable products to dispatch delays) where applicable
- Build strong supplier relations to help secure discounts, terms & additional benefits when and where possible
- Ensure excellent communication channels with suppliers at all times
- Proactivley call, research and qualify existing and new suppliers to help improve the security of our supplier options
- Managing & update the CRM system, ensuring all supplier information is accurate, up to date and informative with a constant interest in decreasing repetitive purchasing questions are asked
- Help in ISO Auditing of processes and departments
Core Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
- Selfdriven, results oriented with proven experience of achieving or exceeding given targets & deadlines
- Business acumen with a problemsolving attitude
- Highly organised and the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Natural forward planner who accepts and learns from positive criticism
- Comfortable dealing with people of all levels and can adapt to all different types of characters
- Excellent Communication & listening skills, an empathetic communicator who always has Obso's and the customers best interests at heart.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Pay:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
