We are a Bespoke Website Agency with a small team who work 90% from home and communicate with each other daily.

We are passionate about strategy, website design, branding and building bespoke websites using WordPress or Strappy headless.

Our clients are varied from pharmaceutical, aviation, marine, investment, engineering, entertainment and many more.


We have the vision to grow in the next five years and expand our digital services but maintain that we are website specialists.

To help support our growth we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is as passionate about websites as we are, and who will enjoy the challenge of bringing in new valuable clients and projects to the table.


We are offering this role with a base salary and a commission structure so someone who is target driven is essential.


Purpose of Role
The Digital Sales Consultant plays a leading role in developing the agency's new business strategy. They should have a thorough understanding or a passion to learn all elements of web design and industry trends.


The Digital Sales Consultant should work with the centralised Business Development & Head of Web to build and develop new business in line with the consultancy's plans from the initial approach and research stage.

Engage the resource team to develop creative proposals, as well as participate in pitches as and when required. They should play an active role in new business development, lead generation and networking.

This role is remote, or you can work in one of the group offices. You will be required to join the team in the London office for quarterly meetings. Travel for client pitches is expected too.


Internal business strategy is key, working closely with the Head of Web to grow the agency to the next level and demonstrate industry leadership.

Make their recommendations based on certain factors such as market trends and competitor goals to minimise risks and help the agency achieve long-term goals.


Responsibilities

New Business & Marketing

  • Work with the Director of Business Development and Marketing to develop the agency's marketing strategy, actively identify and approach new business prospects, and achieve new business targets and goals.
  • Work directly in the field to research and find leads to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Developing and maintaining a strong network of contacts and supporting relationships with key supplier decisionmakers
  • Discovering, hunting and following up leads
  • Utilise consultative sales skills to assess client needs and educate on the power of websites to enhance business opportunities
  • Hone your own networking skills to support Sixtwo and develop our growing reputation in the market.
  • Serve as an industry expert to educate decision makers and build rapport by keeping up with the latest trends to break down barriers and close sales.
  • Work with the team to strategically respond to briefs, devising creative plans and responses as required and in line with a high consultancy standard.
  • Play a role in credential meetings and pitches

Internal Business Strategy

  • Working with the Head of Web to come up with an ongoing business strategy for growth.
  • Supporting the development of longterm organisational strategy.
  • Assessing market trends and competitors.
  • Promoting product internally and providing recommendations on product as and when required

  • Support Company culture wholeheartedly, sharing the company's vision and values with staff and encouraging a positive working environment.
  • Contribute to and offer unanimous support for executive decisions and play a key role in representing the company culture, taking a responsible attitude in motivating staff across the company and supporting the company's plans.

Person Specification

Essential
Experience:


  • 3 years of digital media sales experience
  • Comprehensive handson experience with a digital background
  • Have proven B2B Digital Agency sales experience
  • Be keen and passionate about the Web industry
  • Demonstrable track record of high performance and tenacity to succeed in a fastmoving sales technology
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
  • Keen to learn new technologies and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in growing a pipeline
  • Confident calling potential new clients on the phone and building completely new relationships
  • High level of empathy and strong listening skills
  • Team player that always demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Approachable and personable with a deep sense of integrity
  • Highly organised and target driven
