Epsom Golf Club was Established in 1889, we are a member's club and we are recruiting for Kitchen Assistants.

We offer excellent work life balance and are flexible with working hours, currently only part time and weekend work available.

The roles we are currently recruiting for are
Chef De Partie, Commis Chef and Kitchen Assistant. (As the business grows there will be chances to increase hours)

All our kitchen staff need to have an excellent work ethic, be a team player, positive outlook, to be able to work with front of house to deliver our customers the best possible service.

We also require you to work together with our staff to maintain our 5* Hygiene Rating so you must have an if its dirty clean it attitude, as clean kitchen member is a must.

Also follow all club procedures and kitchen rules.

As a Chef De Partie your responsibilities would include Cooking our bar menu to a high standard, follow detailed plans that are set for you and the kitchen team.

Be able to do daily checks and paperwork in line with the EHO standards.

You must be willing to learn and be willing to teach and pass on any experience you have to junior members of the team.

Must have a can-do attitude, be a strong communicator and be able to work under pressure. You will also get input into menu planning, function menu planning, daily specials, and a chance to be creative.

Level 2 food hygiene and up to date allergen training are required but we can offer training courses if required.

As a Commis Chef we are looking for someone that has a passion to learn, passion for cooking, dedicated, hardworking, team player, good listener.

At Epsom Golf Club you will have the chance to learn everything from basic food preparation, to cooking to being in service.

Here you will learn the ins and outs of a professional kitchen environment.

We always look to promote from within as well so there is a real opportunity to progress through the ranks.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be required to keep on top of pot wash area, rubbish bins and general kitchen cleanliness along with all members of staff, assisting the chefs in any way you can, whether that be helping with vegetable prep to helping them organising areas of the kitchen.

Make sure kitchen cleaning schedules are followed correctly and if you are quiet ask if there is anything you can do.

No experience is necessary and there is a real chance of quick progression from this role.
