CK Group is recruiting for an Analytical Chemist based in Leamington Spa on a full time permanent role for a competitive starting salary of £30,000 per annum.

The Company:

Our client is a leading recycling specialist company offering their service to polymer industries

Location:

The site is based in Leamington Spa and is commutable from Northampton, Lutterworth, Rushden, Rugby, Coventry and Birmingham.

Your duties and responsibilities will involve:

Be a key part of the technical team to support operations and oversee QC and technical functions for recycled material
Help build and specify and run a state of the art analytical laboratory
Utilise GC-MS and other analytical data to identify, and quantify contaminants and determine safe levels based on published and generated data develop methods and train operators
Provide technical guidance of process adjustments and improvements
Support groundbreaking research into recycled materials

Your Background:

Educated to a minimum of BSc level in Chemistry (or related discipline) and with industrial experience using gas chromatography
Comprehensive knowledge of analytical techniques especially GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC or ion chromatography
Experience of regulatory compliance and standards
Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing Environment desirable
