Description

As the Digital Merchandiser you will be responsible for ensuring a first-class customer shopping experience by executing data driven online merchandising and assortment strategies, with a focus on maximising conversion.

You will be expected to analyse the brand sites by using website analytics, in addition to industry trends and competitive research.

The Digital Merchandiser is also responsible for supporting the Digital team in achieving all sales goals, usability performance and corporate objectives.

This is a Hybrid role working 2 days from home and 3 days with the Digital Marketing team in our UK Head Office based in Oldham, Manchester.

Job Duties:

Partners with Senior Digital Merchandisers to develop an online strategy to grow sales and margin
Analyse performance of products, promotions, and campaigns; identify opportunities to promote products and increase engagement and conversion
Work with Digital Marketing to optimise campaign landing pages.
Identify product gaps in the assortment and execute seasonal competitive choice counts
Manage special projects assigned by the Senior Digital Merchandiser
Assist in the execution of A/B testing or targeting ideas to increase conversion rates and sales
Contributes to optimising internal search through indepth analysis and awareness of product selection adjustments
Responsible for product optimisation in assigned category

YOU MUST HAVE:

Some experience working in a similar role focusing on online merchandising, digital content or websites with a passion for merchandising.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into action
Intermediate level of Excel (vlookups & pivot tables)
Effective communication

Additional language skills, particularly either Swedish, Danish, Dutch or French would be desirable but not essential
The ability to build strong crossfunctional relationships
A strong communicator with the ability to influence and drive decision making
