The Embassy of Japan in the UK seeks a highly qualified person who can perform as an assistant to diplomats of the Security Section.

• Security and reception desk duties
• Assist with liaising and coordinating with external agencies such as security companies
• Various research activities on the security situation in the UK

• English language as a mother tongue or equivalent, both spoken and written
• Handson experience in securityrelated industries is desirable
• Standard IT Skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Outlook
• IT and mechanical familiarity and interest in handling security equipment is welcome

• The successful applicant shall serve a probation period of three months immediately after the date of the start of the employment. The Embassy may extend the probation period.
• The successful applicant will be requested to submit a certificate of a clean criminal record.
