Mitsui Components Europe Ltd are an established, world leading manufacturer of high spec door locking systems for the automotive industry.

Production Associate
Permanent - £9.50/hr + £1.42/hr Shift Allowance. Mornings and Afternoons (15%).

Role Summary:_

To initiate, feed and monitor automatic production machines and a heat treatment oven to produce parts to the required production, delivery and quality standards.
Complete and record quality production checks

The main duties associated with the role:

Carry out planned quality inspections at predetermined points, including visual inspections, go/no go gauges and simple dimensional measurement taking using Vernier calipers.
Record productivity and quality data on a daily basis, completing daily record and downtime sheets accurately.

Follow the principles of 5 S, developing an organised, clean and efficient manner of working.

Specific skills and experience/knowledge required:

Previous experience in operating manual and automatic machinery ideal but not essential
Previous experience of Vernier calipers ideal but not essential.
Good level of dexterity, numeracy and literacy.

£10.92 per hour
