888 Recruitment Solutions are delighted to work with our client who are recruiting for both Parking Guides/Attendants and Baggage Handlers.

Each week, our client share available hours for Baggage Handlers / Car Park attendants, for the upcoming weekend / week ahead.

Workers Must Have:*_ Blue Shirt, Smart Black Trousers, Safety Boots, High Viz

*Failure to report for duty at the agreed time or in the specified clothing/work wear will be turned away from shift _
without pay._

Please note, due to Health and Safety, applicants _
must_ be 18 and over.

Guiding customers to Parking spaces:

Sorting and Carrying Suitcases / Luggage and any other items customers bring:

  Loading and Unloading of Suitcases / Luggage and other items from the cages and or vehicles:

Heavy lifting.

Please note, you will need to have an element of physical fitness to carry/lift Baggage/Items:

Customer Facing, therefore you will need to offer a high level of customer services:

• 
  Familiar with the Docks and the locations of Berths
• shifts are likely to be in different areas of the Docks and so you will need to be aware of location for shift.

Hourly Pay:
between £11.86-£15.11 (depending on day/skill)

Work at your availability:This is a flexible opportunity. You will be asked what days, if any, you are available. If you can make a shift - great, if you cannot make any shifts that week - no problem. You will be contacted each week to see if you are available for shift(s). If you accept a shift, you will be expected to turn up. Failure to report for duty, will sadly mean that you will no longer be considered for work.

Start Hours: Start times vary and normally have several options available for any day that there is work. Shifts can start as early as 5am or as late as 11am. You will know the options available before commitment made. Finish times vary, however it is "until finish" and what this means is that you cannot up and leave when you decide. Shifts can be 10hrs on occasions, but in the main they tend to be between 5hr-9hr days.

All staff are required to watch and online video before they start. This is part of your induction. You will also be asked to upload a picture (selfie) of yourself for your badge pass.
