Job Summary
Lifting Gear & Safety is an independent company with nine depots based in England and Wales.

We offer the hire, sale, and service of lifting gear, height safety products, and marine safety equipment to various sectors in the UK and beyond.

The hours, working days, and salary on offer are negotiable to suit both you and the company. In addition, a hybrid home working and office split is also possible.


Responsibilities and Duties
As part of the finance team you will be supporting the finance manager to ensure that the department runs efficiently and your main duties will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices, statements, and admin tasks associated with accounts payable.
  • Sending customer statements, dealing with queries, and progressing overdue payments.
  • Assist the finance manager with month end, managing accruals, the fixed asset register and preparing financial statements
  • Processing VAT returns, preparing payments runs, and payroll administration
